Potato mash is my weakness. If it was possible for me I’d eat it everyday, but then…you know what they say…too much of anything is not good.

This is my favourite way of making it.

Potato Mash

Ingredients:

  • 4 peeled medium potatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk (or more)
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Method:

Boil potatoes until you can easily poke through them with a fork. Drain water and place the steaming hot potatoes into a large bowl. Add all the other ingredients and beat/mash until smooth.

White Sagria

  • 2 cups white wine Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp syrup

Method:

Combine all the ingredients and mix well. Let the sangria sit in the fridge for at least an hour or more. The sangria sweetens with time, so the longer it sits, the better.
